On a recent yoga holiday to Turkey I really enjoyed practicing yoga in the sunshine, within earshot of the sea and surrounded by mountains. I knew I had to pace myself, as a whole week of two sessions of yoga a day might take its toll. However, I am also a great believer in 'less is more'. Allowing my body to go to 80% of what I believe it can do, prevented me from stressing it. The benefits, in terms of peace of mind, being in the now and relaxation were just as great.
