I have been experimenting lately with different meditation techniques and have been amazed at the varying results. My favourite at present is to focus my open or closed eyes on the tip of my nose. With eyes open it is tiring but interesting how your nose goes in and out of focus. With eyes closed more relaxing. Either way I have experienced an increase in energy levels.
There are so many varying forms of meditation. I am not much of a purist in my yoga and meditation teaching hence I am open to trying new ways. My belief that by being open you can experience the richness of what is out there. Some techniques you will discard, others you will hang on to and they can become a foundation of your yoga and meditation practice.
