Have long wanted to visit the Triyoga Centre in Primrose HIll, North London and on Saturday made it happen. ( In case I haven't mentioned it before one of the ways I love to relax is doing and teaching yoga. Enjoyed the company of a lovely friend and had the most delicious (and nutritious!) lunch of quinoa and seaweed and beetroot salad, veggie juices and amazing lemon ginger tea. Tried to replicate the quinoa last night but really couldn't achieve the same wonderful flavour. Need some good quinoa recipes if anyone out there has some? Anyway, it was a real oasis, such a calm atmosphere, music that was extremely gentle on the ear and the delicate scent of incense. With bright sunshine streaming in on us as we ate, it was the ideal opportunity to "be in the moment". Another time I plan to actually take a class there too! Can't wait to go again!

Many of my students (and others) have bought my Relaxation CD to help them to relax in mind and body. It consists of my voice, accompanied by beautiful background music, guiding you into a place of deep relaxation. If you are someone who finds it difficult to relax and let go of thinking and worrying, then I really believe this will help you. If you are aware of tension in your body, eg, your shoulders or neck, then listening to this CD will help you to effect deep relaxation in your body. The CD runs for approx. 25 minutes and I am often told that listeners are so deeply into their relaxation that they only 'come to' at the end, feeling refreshed and relaxed. Whether or not you are aware of everything you hear on the tape, you will still experience the considerable benefits.
