To turn your body into a fat burning machine you need to build muscle. Building muscle, raises your metabolism and then...you will burn fat, yippee! What do you do to build muscle? There are loads of options. You could pick up a cheap rowing machine; use a couple of hand weights to build up your triceps and do a few bicep curls (or use baked beans tins); if you are into yoga do a few of the weight bearing postures such as plank, table top, hanging cobra or a few press ups. It is amazing how much better you feel with just a little weight bearing exercise. You feel lighter, have more energy, and you will be burning fat whilst you sleep...
