Dr. Bruce Lipton

Dr. Bruce Lipton was a truly inspiring speaker at a lecture organised under the 'Alternatives' umbrella on 17.7.10.  If you are at all interested in why we are here, how we can heal, what is the connection between our physical and emotional health, I urge you to immerse yourself in his teachings.  His brilliant book 'The Biology of Beliefs' contains ground breaking research into the relationship between science and spirit.  With a science background of cell biology, he was researching stem cells 40 years ago.  Truly ahead of his time, his views have been challenged by more traditional thinkers but this is changing and people are beginning to 'wake up' to the possibility that the mind cannot be taken out of the equation of illness.  The lecture was packed with wonderful gems from his latest research.

Fancy a nibble?

This exciting new venture in London's Kensington is great fun!  My husband spotted an article in a newspaper and immediately booked us in.  These little fish gently nibble away the dead skin from your feet.  It's a funny tickly feeling.  The young Chinese couple who have begun this entreprenuerial venture are just lovely.  Full of enthusiasm and very attentive. Systemic Lupus and NAET allergy elimination

Recently I have been using NAET with a client who has Systemic Lupus.  Multiple allergies were part of her problem.   Depression was also part of the problem, not uncommon with Lupus. We begun with a couple of sessions of Emotional Freedom Technique (aka tapping or EFT) to lift the depression and control the anxiety.  Good results ensued.  We then moved on to allergy testing using the NAET system and week by week eliminated the allergens.  The client has seen a huge improvement in the Lupus symptoms and a total lifting of the depression.  By learning how to treat herself with Emotional Freedom Technique she keeps the anxiety at bay.  Needless to say she is thrilled with the results and once again is excited about life.

Have reached the end of yet another decade, I have become increasingly interested in anti-aging.  Not that I am vain you understand!   However I was passing a mirror and noticed a line that had suddenly appeared.  So those of you how know me personally will know that I am always one to take action and so I contacted a friend whom I knew was involved with the top American anti-aging company, NuSkin.  Before I knew it I was having a demo of the product and was so impressed that, as the story goes, I bought into the company!  I am so pleased with how my face is looking after just ONE treatment that now am very comfortable with selling the NuSkin products.

Infertility and Bowen

Bowen Technique, NAET and Migraine

Bowen Technique can really help to alleviate migraines.  If you are a migraine sufferer you will be probably bea aware that often the problem can be due to allergies, skeletal misalignment, muscle tension, stress or hormonal imbalance.  I find that both NAET and Bowen Technique can help or eliminate migraine.  A few treatments are usually needed but success is indeed possible.

Infertility and Bowen Technique

The Bowen Technique can have a remarkably positive effect on infertility issues.  Endemetriosis is often an issue for women and there is little that conventional medicine can offer them to increase their chances of conception.  The emotional pain for these women is often indescribably tortuous. 

I have been privileged to work with two ladies this year using the Bowen Technique in the hope that conception could occur.  

The excitement we all felt when the first lady announced her pregnancy after just six session of Bowen was incredible.  And then...a second Mum-to-be announced that her baby will be along in May 2010!  This was after just three Bowen treatments. 

So how does it work?  I certainly can't put my hand on my heart and say how or why.  The important thing is that some kind of energy shift occurred within their systems that allowed them to conceive naturally.

There are other really valuable energy medicine therapies out there that can also contribute to clearing fertility issues.  Where there are underlying emotional issues I offer Emotional Freedom Techniques and for allergies (which can certainly contribute to infertility) I use NAET.

Practising NAET here in Leighton Buzzard for all types of allergies is becoming an interesting experience.  Though NAET sounds a little weird, thankfully there are those who are so sick of their allergies they will try anything.  Imagine being able to drink milk after years of a lactose intolerance?
