Vibrational Healing Energies

'Vibrational Healing will be the medicine of the future' so said Candace Pert to me a couple of years ago.  How does this work?  Well everything is vibrating at a certain frequency.  Be it animal, vegetable or mineral.  These frequencies vary.  If you are emotional or physically unwell that your frequencies change.  The e-Lybra bioresonance 'reads' these frequencies and offers compatible healing frequencies to the body to rebalance it.

NAET Allergy Testing and Elimination works slightly differently but still working with the body's energies. Using kinesiology the body is 'read' and adjustments made using spinal manipulation to re-align the body's energies with what have been allergens, so that the body's immune system no longer reacts inappropriately.
For example, it is common for the immune system to react inappropriately to that wonderful source of natural protein, egg.  This can lead to a catalogue of problems including anxiety, asthma, arthritis, dermatitis, backache, cataracts, colitis, constipation, depression, diabetes, digestive disorders, eczema, emotional imbalance, hair loss, fatigue, heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperactivity, liver toxicity, joint pains, kidney disease, insomnia, migraine, mood swings, MS, sinusitis, water retention, weight gain and more!

Fortunately with NAET you no longer have to avoid your allergens, a series of treatments could rid you of the symptoms of allergens long term.

If you would like help with your allergies - that is dealing with the cause and not covering up the symptoms, you can email me at : beryl@foodAllergyPlus.co.uk or call me on 07817959161.

I will no longer be blogging on this site.

From mid June I will have a new blog site called www.foodallergyplus.co.uk and I look forward to telling you all about the amazing NAET allergy testing and TREATMENT therapy that I shall be practising.

Weight training for weight loss

Recently I have purchases a power plate machine and am really pleased with it (except that it is not working at the moment and I am waiting in for the engineer!).  I experienced the results within a day.  My legs felt stronger when I was out walking in the woods.  I felt lighter and my energy was higher.  The great thing about it is that you only need to spend 10 mins on it to give you the equivalent results of a 60 mins workout in the gym.  Plus, no travel needed.  As  a Coach I recognise that sometimes people don't do exercise because it is too difficult to fit into their lives, and I was no exception!  So now, 10 mins every 3 days helps build my bone density, tones and strengthens muscles, shifts lymph which in turn helps you detox too.

Then I read today at http://www.weightlossguru.com/post.cfm/lifting-weights-as-good-as-running that weight training can also help you lose weight.  It increases your metabolism which helps you burn that fat.  So along with a bit of bouncing on my trampette and my regular yoga practise, I am on my way to fab fitness...

Rhodioloa Rosea and Anxiety Management

Rhodiola Rosea is a fairly newly discovered herbal supplement that has many amazing benefits.  Firstly is anxiety and depression -  often suffered together - and Rhodiola Rosea can help both of them.  This herb is known as an adaptagon, that is a natural herb product that increases the body's ability to manage stress.  Relatively unknown in the West until recently, new research is discovering the many benefits of this herb including supporting the cardio-vascular system by increasing the blood supply to muscles and the brain. Other amazing qualities are the ability to give better sleep, decrease fatigue, enchance mental focus and memory, and some say, enhance sexuality.

Find out more by going to http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/Brown16.html or Rhodiolar_2http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/92465.php

Where to buy a good quality Rhodiola supplement? I would go for Viridian's high potency.  You can buy it at http://www.rhodiola.co.uk/.

Smile to beat Stress

Dog_smile Just found this delightful 37 ways to beat yoru stress.  I always knew that sticking a smile on your face lifted your mood but I didn't understand the physiology behind it.  Well it appears that smiling transmits nerve impulses from the facial muscles to the limbic system, a key emotional centre in the brain, tilting the neurochemical balance towards calmness.  Mmmm...check out this website for the other 36 ideas. Natural Highs - Patrick Holford

SupplementsMore on managing your moods. Natural Highs by Patrick Holford is a great guide to helping you achieve emotional wellness without resorting to anti-depressants.  This time of year can see us plunge emotionally.  The anti-climax after the high of Christmas, the lack of sunshine all can begin to pull us down.

Now some of you may be able to manage taking supplements with no trouble, others with sensitive digestive systems really struggle.  Recently I have been working with a client to give her additional nutrition energetically.  E-Lybra has programmed into it a varied range of nutritional factors and running a programme for just 25 minutes will help rebalance a client.  In addition, if the client has an e-capsule, then they can carry on experiencing the benefits of that nutrition for days or weeks ahead.

At www.patrickholford.com you can find out more about how to manage your moods with nutrition.

Depression and Anxiety

Depression Depression and Anxiety can hit us at any time of year but the winter months are often the worst for most and Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD can be part of that.  Working with the e-Lybra bioresonance system can often help combat these distressing disorders.  The way e-Lybra works is to rebalance whatever is out of balance in your system.  It works on energy frequencies and uses its store of over 285,000 different healing patterns to send a healing frequency to the body.  Sometimes results are instant and lasting, other times healing can take a while.  Each and every case is different.  If you would like to have a free 40 min session taken some time during January 08 then please give me a call on 01525 374190 or 07817959161.

Blood sugar Depression and Anxiety

Managing your blood sugar level may be a way to eliminate your depression and anxiety.  I have recently had a client whose life has been transformed by cutting out sugar.  Along with losing the sugar she has lost the anxiety and depression and gained a zest for life and energy to match!  Some people have a type of brain chemistry that is very sensitive to the negative effects of sugar.  This is often genetic or related to childhood trauma, resulting in low serotonin levels.  Dr. Kathleen Desmaisons has written a book on this topic 'Potatoes not Prozac' which stems from her PhD on the subject.  The foreword is by Candace Pert, MD (my most favourite scientist!).  If you eat a lot of sugar and sugary products, and/or drink a lot of alcohol, experience low self esteem, mood swings, tearfulness, irritability, anger you may be sugar sensitive and no amount of counselling therapy will change it.  The test that Dr. Desmaisons suggests in her book is this.  If you were passing a plate of warm cookies would you take one, even if you are not hungry?  Hmmm Dr. Desmaisons has found that those who are sugar sensitive just laugh at this question...answer is obvious!

For more info. on this subject go to www.radiantrecovery.com and to the marvellous blog by Dr. Alison Grimston www.holisticdoctoronline.com and to fab nutritionist Lucy-Ann Prideaux at www.simplynutrition.com

Simply Nutrition

Lucy-Ann Prideaux writes the www.simplynutritionblog.com which is full of great tips on how to eat your way to wellness through good nutrition.  I don't know about you but at this time of year I can find it tricky to avoid a bit of comfort eating, those mince pies keep calling my name..!  I am doing my best to cut out  caffeine, sugar, white stuff like rice, and wheat flour and I really do feel the benefits when I can have a good couple of weeks of eating that way.  Searching blogs like Lucy-Ann's and also www.franlife.blogspot.com helps to give me a few ideas for trying out new recipes with foods that are in season and that will comfort me without widening me!  Visiting my local Farmers Market in Woburn, Beds means that I can buy my food if not fresh from the farmer's gate then pretty close to it!

Simplicity

The trouble with so many of us is that we underestimate the power of simplicity. We have a tendency it seems to over complicate our lives and forget what's important and what's not. We tend to mistake movement for achievement. We tend to focus on activities instead of results. And as the pace of life continues to race along in the outside world, we forget that we have the power to control our lives regardless of what's going on outside.
