Networking and Development

Personal Assistants in the Advertising world are being given an opportunity to network and increase their personal development on Wed 8 Nov, 5.30 at The Old Laundry, Grotto Passage, London W1.  This is a wonderful location, you can see it at www.whatifinnovations.com.  The evening will start with a drink and a chance to chat and network with other PAs from Advertising.  The speaker will be Hayley Edwards who was the PA to Marco Pierre White for 7 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience of being a high profile PA and managing all that goes with that!  I will be then giving a short presentation on how to manage your worries, be that at work or in your personal life. 

Thanks to the IPA for hosting this evening and for Liz Nottingham for all the effort she has put into it.

Thank you to Jeremy Stern who ran a 'Byron Katie' workshop last weekend.  Bryon Katie's technique for releasing difficult emotions and letting go of challenging situations is quite unique.  In just a day we learnt how to facilitate the technique and use it for ourselves.  I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the very next morning used it to help one of my sons through his tendency to slip into an 'unresourceful state' on the golf course!  Anyone who plays golf will understand that completely...  If you would like to contact Jeremy to find out when his next workshop is, you can email him at JSTERNCONS@aol.com.
