Leadership can be exciting, challenging, scary, fulfilling, a nightmare...rewarding. Personally, I have found that the most rewarding leading I have been involved with is leading my sons into adulthood and achieving their goals in sport. Sharing with them my knowledge of Neuro Linguisitic Programming and teaching them how they could use it in their lives to achieve better results has been an absolute privilege and great fun (as good learning often is). To be a great leader you need to be able to lead yourself. The most entertaining element of it is when they start reminding me of howmy NLP skills could help me through a bad mood!
No, these aren't my sons but they are two great achievers. They have had to lead themselves to get there. Mine are just too shy...
Here's a link to a great site which will give you more good stuff about leadership http://www.nwlink.com/~donclark/leader/leadcon.html
